Well we figured that it was time to do a little blog update. We have been doing a little celebrating this summer. Well not too much, but we have had some good times.
Some of our other friends (our rock band buddies) got remarried ( no, not on a beach, that was just Eryn's magic)
In June we had a nice family reunion most of Jess' family were there we all had a really nice time ( there was even a game of tippy cups). We got a good family photo. Months ago we wanted to roast a pig in the ground but never really got the chance, so this reunion gave us the chance, and it was good. Kevin also cooked the chickens that we had killed a few days before ( it was a little gamey, but still pretty good).
In July we went to South lake Tahoe and relaxed on the beach for the day and made few animal friends. Brenden and Kevin had a good time making a sand castle. We saw a really cool wood carving and Eryn took a great photo at another lake.
Amador county is known for it's wealth of good wineries, so one day we decided to go visit one and oh boy was the wine and champagne good. Eryn also took some more great pics.
These two pictures are from Sutter Creek which is an old town that thrived on the money made during the California Gold Rush. It is a great little town with lots of antique shops and small inns. We all enjoy going there and walking around browsing through the shops and people watching . sometimes there are are lots of dogs there too which is fun.
